Hello everyone,

I’m developing a mobile app where i’m integrating facebook login and i’m facing an issue, after login in , my screen goes blank. So, i resolved to manage facebook login inside an iframe (because i believe the pop up blocker is causing me trouble). However, after adding the html tag in my source code, the login dialog  it is not being displayed at all .

What should i do?

Please, Help.

Edit: Haven’t figured how to make it work on iframe, can’t see the facebook login dialog, although in my pc works perfectly.

Edit2: Discovered using iframes to hold facebook login dialog is not possible because of x-frame options = DENY ,  this left me hanging and gotta do more research in order to find a way.

I’m currently working on a small sample for facebook and google login. I will prioritise this and publish asap.

Regards,

Jason.

Hi,

Long, long time ago I made a sample for logging in to Facebook.

Don’t know know if they still use the same API.

And my sample works from a Uniface application running on Windows, before we had HTML windgets.

But maybe there still is something of use in it:

It definitely has (using Oauth is the key), although i have little knowledge of desktop applications (i’m kinda new into Uniface), so i have been looking for an example, something to begin with, reading a lot, but i feel like i’m losing it and need some guidance.

We (the Uniface organization) are planning to run a paid online Uniface Essentials + Client Server course in the next few weeks (UK or mainland Europe time zone). Please contact your local sales representative (our give a shout over here) if you’d be interested.

Facebook oauth login dialog cannot be displayed in an iframe because of the risk of clickjacking. Cry .

I’ve been doing a lot of research on the matter, and the solution seems to be the server-side login (my server handling access tokens and such), although i haven’t found any clear documentation about it. I’m kinda lost, even the facebook documentation is poor in the subject.
